Overview
The Universal Boxing Council (UBC) offers competitive, transparent sanctioning fees for all affiliated title bouts. Fees are structured by title level and region, ensuring fairness for promoters, fighters, and managers at every stage of the championship hierarchy.
All sanctioning fees must be booked and paid at least thirty (30) days in advance of the scheduled bout date to meet UBC requirements.

Payment Terms

How to Request Sanctioning & Pay Fees
Step 1: Initial Contact
Contact UBC to express interest in sanctioning a title bout.
Step 2: Bout Review
The UBC will review:
Proposed title level and division
Rankings and records of both fighters
Promoter and venue information
Local commission approval
Step 3: Fee Quote
You will receive a written fee quote for the specific title level and region.
Step 4: Payment
Submit payment at least 30 days before the bout date via the approved method.
Step 5: Assignment of Officials
Upon payment confirmation, the UBC will assign:
A UBC Representative
A non-scoring referee
Three scoring judges (as available and approved)
Step 6: Bout Day
The UBC Representative oversees weigh-ins, rules enforcement, and post-fight procedures.

Sanctioning Agreement
Upon payment and approval, the promoter and UBC will sign a Sanctioning Agreement that includes:
Title level and weight division
Date, location, and venue
Confirmed fighters (champion and challenger)
Fee amount and payment confirmation
Acknowledgment of UBC Unified Rules
Liability and hold harmless provisions
Media and promotional rights
No bout shall be advertised or promoted as a UBC championship contest until the Sanctioning Agreement is fully executed.
Refusal or Denial of Sanctioning
The UBC reserves the right to refuse sanctioning for any bout that does not meet our standards, including but not limited to:
Mismatched fighters (extreme record disparity)
Failure to meet medical or licensing requirements
Unpaid prior sanctioning fees
False or misleading information provided by promoter or manager
Violation of UBC ethical standards

Legal Notice: Any legitimate inquiries are invited to the Vice President. Any other boxing sanctioning body using the UBC name without authorization is trading outside registered trademark regulations and is liable for prosecution.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can fees be paid in installments?
A: Generally, no. Full payment is required 30 days before the bout. Exceptions may be made for established promoters at the discretion of the UBC Vice President.
Q: What happens if the bout falls through after payment?
A: If the UBC has already assigned representatives and begun work, fees are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the event, a partial refund (50%) may be considered.
Q: Does the UBC cover insurance?
A: No. Event insurance and fighter insurance are the responsibility of the promoter and local commission.
Q: Are there fees for non-title bouts?

Q: Do women's title bouts have different fees?
