Under the guidance of President Luis Bello-Diaz, the UBC operates independently, distinct from other major bodies like the WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO.

UBC Unified Rules for Championship Bouts
Recognized since our inception, the UBC Unified Rules govern championship bouts. These rules ensure fair play and safety:
- Bout Duration: Men – 12 rounds (3 minutes each); Women – 10 rounds (3 minutes each).
- Fouls: Strict consequences for intentional fouls.
- Weights and Medicals: Weigh-ins occur 12-24 hours before fights, adhering to stringent medical protocols.
- Protecting Fighters: Mouthpieces are mandatory, and anti-doping tests are conducted to ensure fairness.
Sanction Fees
To sanction a championship bout, promoters must book and pay UBC within 30 days of the fight date. This ensures a smooth preparation process and compliance with UBC regulations.
Fight Schedule and Registration
The UBC actively maintains a fight schedule that is regularly updated. Fighters and promoters can register for upcoming bouts and stay informed through our official channels.
